CEOs for Cities is a good read. It’s blog is just as good.

I read fewer blogs than I used to. The few Dayton that I read on a regular basis are Daytonology, Bringing Home the Bacon, Friends of Dayton’s Arcade, McGatha Garden CO OP, St. Anne’s Blog on the Hill, It’s Great ‘n Dayton, and This Reluctant Soil. Seasonally, I’m going to list Christmas in the Miami Valley.

Cincinnati blogs that I read regularly are UrbanCincy (urban affairs and development), 5chw4r7z (photo blog), and Building Cincinnati (architecture and urban affairs).

Cooltown Studios is still a favorite of mine but it doesn’t have a feedburner so I guess it’s not a blog anymore…just a website that updates frequently.

Local websites that I like or find worthy of others’ time will also be on the right…the Dayton Daily News is being delisted because it’s a sorry excuse for a paper and doesn’t even deserve to be called a rag. The tipping point came after the election when some self-righteous, holier-than-thou “journalist” like Martin Gottlieb wrote that the nation isn’t racist anymore except for Republicans. I find that repulsive and canceled my prescription. You should too.

I haven’t read Esrati for awhile since he seems to be nothing more than a Daytonian’s attempt at being the city’s enfant terrible.

Dayton MostMetro was promising as a blog aggregator and creator and then as a forum, but the forum took over and turned into an echo chamber. Nothing new or great about that.

If I held my blog to the standards I held others to, I probably wouldn’t list it. So no offense to anyone. If I start reading new blogs or old blogs that I have delisted, I will relist them ASAP.
